Join us on Thursday 6 August at 17h00 for an Artist Talk on the Stellenbosch Art Mile with artist Ledelle Moe, as part of Stellenbosch First Thursdays.

Meet at EXPLODED GEOGRAPHIES IV, opposite Oevertuyn (3 Noordwal-Oos Road), where Ledelle will share the story behind her monumental installation before leading an intimate conversation at Oude Leeskamer.

Known for exploring themes of memory, place and the human condition, Ledelle's EXPLODED GEOGRAPHIES IV traces connections between place, memory and displacement through monumental cement and steel forms. Figures and birds, embedded with soils gathered from across countries, transform earth into both material and metaphor, reflecting on belonging, movement, permanence and impermanence.
