Join us on Thursday 5 November at 18h00 for an Artist Talk on the Stellenbosch Art Mile with internationally recognised Ugandan sculptor and educator Dr. Rose Namubiru Kirumira, the artist behind Serenity (2024), as part of Stellenbosch First Thursdays.

Inspired by the Tibetan prayer wheel, Serenity is an interactive sculpture that invites movement, meditation and self-expression, bringing art and the natural landscape of the Eerste River together.

Come hear Rose share the ideas, inspiration and creative journey behind the work, and discover how art can create moments of reflection, connection and interaction in public spaces.
